Defend
The Bay conducts education including collaborative efforts
with K-12, colleges and universities to increase awareness of environmental
issues. On
the college level, Defend The Bay participates with University of California
Irvine students in planning and conducting trash cleanups, as well
as creek and beach cleanups. Defend The Bay lectures to students at their schools, to service clubs, and to other organizations. If
